I know that a lot of you live far away, but for those in driving distance, if you have been thinking about getting away to Galena, IL for a weekend, on Friday, January 27th, the Perry Street Brasserie Restaurant is holding a Robert Burns Scottish Celebration with Songs & Stories. Brian Leo, now with "Trinket," formerly with "Molly & the Tinker" on guitar & vocals.

Menu:

The Parading of The Haggis
Scottish Ale or a Highlander Highball

'Forfar Bridie' over Organic Fresh Garden Green with Assorted Pickled Vegetables & Caper Shallot Vinaigrette.

'Cocky Leeky,' a creamy leek & chicken soup
Vino Vini Pinot Noir (Not Scottish)

$65 plus tax and tip for the 4 course meal including the alcoholic beverages listed above, along with entertainment. Special prices on other Scottish whiskies and beers.

Lots of people that we've met at faires have said they'd like to visit our restaurant, so if you thought that a visit to Galena and our restaurant is in your future, now would be a great time!  And just think of all the guys in kilts....... ;D
