Well, I'm glad you're able to come down and visit!  It really IS a wonderful Faire, and everyone there has such a great time putting it on for all of us.  I hope you get the opportunity to chat with the owner for a bit, because he's very friendly, and loves welcoming new visitors!  Can't wait to see your photos!  :D

Wow... I thought that was some nice temps compared to the last time I did faire on Memorial Day weekend.... 103-104° thereabout?

Still, hot enough to require cooling methods...

Heat mixed with humidity is the killer.  100 degrees with 20% humidity is a whole lot different than the same with 60% humidity, as you are undoubtedly aware, living in AR.

I wish we didn't have another faire and renewal to attend, or we'd enjoy coming back up to Castleton for the long weekend, and meet you Yanks. I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Watch for Archer and his friends. Honourable men, one and all, and better friendships can't be had!

Sadly :'( Castleton has closed it's gate for yet another season. Many new friends were made and old friendships renewed. It was my great honor to be knighted along with 5 of my bother knights into the order of the thistle( Knights of Castleton). It will be my great pleasure to defend the realm with them
