2013 Enchanted Lakes Renaissance Faire and Marketplace

Greetings All!  I am pleased to announce the new dates for our 3rd year's faire:  June 14th-16th, which is Father's Day weekend as always.  Paragon Jousting will be returning and they are always a crowd favorite.  They will be performing once on Friday night and three times each Saturday and Sunday.  We are working on some new ideas for this year.  Last year's trading card promotion went over very well with kids and their parents.  This year we will be allowing vendors and entertainers to get cards as well.  We will also be printing a certificate to be awarded to the kids after they complete their quest.  The Lowlands Games will be a new event this year and open to all.  Compete in one event or all but have a great time doing so.  Most of our entertainers have indicated that they plan on returning and we are offering a new incentive program this year for vendors.  Vendor apps may be requested through our Book of Faces pages, either Enchanted Lakes Faire and Marketplace or the Enchanted Lakes Faire Fiends.  Our "fiends" page is for fiendishly fun people and details other events we have throughout the year including our Mother's Day Tea and our Sweetheart's Delight Bake Sale.  Volunteers are most welcome and can also contact us throught the Book of Faces.  Hope to see you at the faire!

Noticed on the Facebook page that the website URL for the Faire leads to a message that says -

"Enchanted Lakes Faire

.... SITE OFFLINE .... Contents of this site have been removed by the content owner, via Creative commons license, as the written request for usage permissions was never received as requested."


Doing a Google Maps Search for "Enchanted Lakes Renaissance Faire" does show the location of the Faire on the map.  The location marker also has the website URL that leads to the error message above.

The Faire is active, they will once again be open Father's Day weekend. They are working on a new website. You can get updates on the Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Enchanted-Lakes-Renaissance-Faire-Marketplace-ELF-Angola-Indiana/206454696037434?ref=ts&fref=ts until the site is up.

Due to a change in management, the previous website was taken down but a new one should be up in the next couple of days.  We are really excited about this year!  There is a renewed sense of FUN which was missing last year.  New vendors are requesting apps, entertainers are sending their apps in and we are planning on a great event this year.

Any artisans interested in vending with us this year may request an application through vendors@enchantedlakesfaire.com.  If your application is submitted (postmarked) by January 31st, you may deduct $50 off your booth rent.  This doesn't apply to games or specialty vendors.  If you apply by February 28th, you may deduct $25 from your rent.  We are also beginning a vendor incentive program this year.  Refer up to two new vendors for 2013 and receive credit of $25 per vendor (max. $50) off your 2014 rent.  This could effectively make your booth rent for 2014 $50 if you remit payment by end end of January, 2014!
