After not being able to attend at all last year I am simply surrounding myself with all things faire until opening day. That translates to sewing 23 hours a day for weeks on end so that all of my garb withdrawal will finally leave me. So that means new garb for me, the brother, the sister, the best friend, the stepdad, the neighbors, the man at the corner store, my best friend' boyfriend's dog and probably a lucky dane that I will corrupt along the way. I think I have issues.

HAPPY TEN DAYS TILL FAIRE!!!

Looking forward to seeing everyones new garb.  That's always so fun.  I got a new leather corset made to go with and old skirt that I dyed nice and pretty to like I got a new skirt. And I am half way threw another bodice. WEEEE!!!  Also made myself alot of little odds and ends.  Just finished a shirt for my brother and am helping his wife make a linen medieval type dress.  All very fantasy, nothing H/A for me this year.

We leave for (our now annual) extended opening weekend of faire camping trip, on Thursday of next week.  So I am really running outta time here.  Not complaining thought because I am so happy it's MIRF season again.

Yessssssss! Finishing up a skirt to go with my hot-off-the-sewing machine *very* not h/a underbust corset. Then need to bust weed puller on my dog's outfit for opening weekend, and maybe I can squeek in *one* more skirt to go with my h/a linen bodice. TEN MORE DAYS! (Did I mention I'm camping up north the 13th-18th so I really only have this weekend for two projects?!) I hope to meet some of you this year--we should wear "Hello, my name is..." tags lol!

My favorite place to hang out is probably the Guinness Pub, although there are a couple of other really nice pubs as well.

I am in final pack up mode.  My faire weekend starts tomarrow afternoon and I am soooo excited to see my faire family. 

We should plan some meet and greets.  I can't promise I'll make them all, but we should get that going again.  Maybe a morning one at Things From Rings and an afternoon one at the Guinness or Dragons Breath.  And whoever can make it where ever would be great.  But at least would get us all meeting each other again.  I just looked at the website hoping there would be a schedule but I couldn't find one. 

What does everyone think about 11am at Things From Rings and say 3pm at the Guinness. 

And this can change from one weekend to the next.  Or we could even get together and do the pub crawl one weekend or plan to meet to see a show like Tartanic or Djilia or something like that.  WEEEEE!!!!!
