I am looking for a corset;

I bought a new skirt at Sherwood in the spring, at corsets by Diva
They did not have my size in the corresponding corset

Now I need One badly I have a wedding to go to

I need one that is silk blue, reversable, with black inside size 34,
it needs to be one of the corsets that push the little puppies up and not split them apart
My skirt is silk, rayon in the medium blue/green pattern of the Black Watch pattern
so I want a medium Blue silk/rayon reversable. I have looked on line but am Leary of ordering one with out help

Can any one help?????

Okay, there are many styles of corsets out there.  It sounds like you might be looking for a pair of Elizabethan stays rather than a corset.   Elizabethan stays give you a conical shape rather than the traditional Victorian hourglass of a corset.  Can you provide a picture of a cut/style you are looking for?  It doesn't have to be the same color - just something to make sure everyone is on the same page.

There is no such thing as a reversable corset.  It's a myth.   Once you wear a corset, the boning is meant to conform to your shape.  If you wear it the other way, the boning will dig into and pinch you -not pleasant!   Because of that, the corset or stays depending on what you are wearing will not last nearly as long.  The boning will give out and the material will rip from the constant strain of being pushed one way and then the other.

Also, you don't want rayon.   Really.   You want linen/silk/wool/cotton.  Rayon/polyester/acetate is essentially you wearing a plastic bag which will not feel nice after a few hours.  Although you should have a chemise/shirt/something between your skin and the stays or corset, you'll also feel the difference between having something lined in Rayon and something lined in linen or cotton.

This is just one of many I saw on etsy.   You might want to try artfire as well.   However, this is an excellent price for a custom pair of Elizabethan stays.

   That is an excellent price!  I'm drooling over that chemise too...
