Sorry, I don't remember what the actual pants are called.  I was wondering, what is the best material to stuff them with so as not to loose the fluff.

No stuffing stays 'poofy' forever. But I like to use bridal tulle. It's pretty stiff in volume and does not weight the pants down.

Pumpkin Pants or Slops with Panes as they are called.

Bridal Toule or Netting, makes a good light stuffing.  as Dona Catalina says.

I'm currently making some slops myself.   They sell this stuff at Joann's called millinery netting, it's just a lightweight mesh.  It's cheaper than the bridal tulle, I think I paid $1.49 a yard for it.  I don't know how it will hold up over the long run, but I that's what I stuffed mine with and they look good so far.

Thanks for the suggestions. I know it is not going to stay puffy forever.  I was looking more for the non-flatness after sitting.  I will give the suggestions a try.
