Wingardium Leviosa!
Tis not the length of the staff- but the magick there in!

It's funny that in some of the pictures, it looks like it does now... 25 years, a lot can change.

I remember that statue. Used to be in the middle of the road on the way towards the blacksmith and the crane, but now it's moved somewhere else. Not sure where.

The pics of the chapel, before the vines took over, are cool... does anyone remember when the cross was replaced?

*pssst...look at the whole photostream...* ;)

Lady Mac

Wow. In shot 22, that's my dads' shop 149. He had been in for just 3 yrs. In 92 he bought the space between him and what is now the Brigadoon Brewery. Ded Critters is now the shop to the right.

Scroll through the rest of the 1987 album and there is the most adorable picture of little Hilton (aka Sholo the Barbarian, who had to have been a teenager at the time and he always was oh-so-swoonworthy). I saw quite a few old friends and half-remembered bits of beauty surfing through the wanderer's galleries. What a great find!

I can't claim the credit... my sister came across it and said "oh, big brother needs to see these!"  :D

*She's a rennie at heart...*  ;)

This man has a really extensive gallery from the old days... hit some of his tags and you'll find stuff from '89,'91,'92 and some more recent stuff... ;D

The battle mound!
Is it scary that I recognize the heraldry on some of the shields?
and Sholo is every inch the warrior.

I remember that statue!  I have a pic of it in my wedding album from '94.  There was also a huge wooden chair back in that area...big enough that it dwarfed our 6ft 7in friend in it!
Got faerie dust?

I *REALLY* need to dig through some tubs and find the shoebox of actual printed photos that survived the waters and do some scanning. I have a few good shots from TRF back in the 96-97 range. I was a winter-white-woodnymph one of those years and took a great light-and-dark photos with Sholo. It's still one of my favorites. There was a great dark-elf running around back then that I did a shot with too. I'm pretty sure I shot some of the SCA fights, and a few good wenchings  (poor guys head-to-toe in lipstick.. those were the days).

When was Sholo's first year at TRF?  I thought I saw him participating in the Human Chess Match on the Falconer's Stage 4 or 5 years before the '87 pic.
