Hello,

First time to the Renfest this weekend.  So excited - going with a group of girlfriends.  My friend has the cutest bustier/lace up corset type top that she's going to wear.  She can't remember where she got it  >:(  Anyone know somewhere in N. Houston/Spring/The Woodlands where I could find one?

TIA!!

a good online source is Corset Story (www.corset-story.com), which is where my wife got hers. At faire, there are several shops of varying quality that you can get them as well

Well, there is Hot Topic... Really you can just go to faire, have the shop lace you into one, and walk out wearing it. My wife's friends have done that.

Getting one at faire really is the best plan at this point.
You can try on various styles to find what works best for you, and there should be plenty of selections available at multiple price points.

And if you happen to be near the front gate, swing thru shop 156 and show it off.

Please, don't go to Hot Topic. Just don't. There are affordable options at faire that are made much better...

There is a section on the forum about trusted garb providers online.  Try that as well.

Hot Topics choices are so...so. I've seen one person get a corset they liked out of there...after many, many, many years. But I do dig their t-shirts...Great...now I've corsets on the brain.

Thanks for all the ideas guys!  It is going to be HOT this weekend.  I was totally looking forward to cooler weather.  Oh well.  My friend told me about a store in Magnolia on 1488 called Sensei-tions.  I picked out a super cute corset there and it was reasonable (I think).  Now just to survive the rest of the work week.........blech.

FYI: One of the corset shops from Faire has a shop in old town spring.  Castadiva I think but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
