Is this the same combat tournament that has the Moor in it also? People were coming up to Alex last year calling him " Mitch" or something along those lines. I think we walked by it a few times last year, but this year I will make it a point to stop and watch!

I believe there was a Moor the first year that they had the Combat Tournament of Sherwood. This last year's lineup was:

• Francois le Foutre (French)

Aww man.. I feel bad we missed the Moor . It would have been interesting to see how he fought. But I'm sure this year will be awesome too!

Looks like McLotofus will 'officially' be out opening weekend.  Not sure where we are to be yet but have posted questions in another thread regarding that.

I'll be there pretty much every weekend either as a day trip or camping.
I know I will be camping opening weekend (with The Lovely Lady Trinn), March 2-3 (closest to a bday I get) and March 10-11 (bachelor party weekend). I will probably camp closing too. Any other days I camp will just be random ones. (Trinn doesn't get to camp much at that time of year due to work)

*I have got to do a lot of rum restocking between now and faire starting up*

2.)  My group will be small, since they all have to fit in my car with the wheelchair.

3.)  We will probaly be staying at a hotel. Wheelchairs and camping don't mix very well.

Speaking of which, since I wasn't able to attend last year, what are the conditions of handicap accessability at Sherwood?

Happy to say that I will have a Meg with me for all of opening weekend, and we'll be in a hotel. Hopefully I can kidnap a few more friends to join us. SO EXCITED!!!! ^_^

Looks like me and 2 others will be camping the second weekend as well March 16-17.
We've never been to sherwood so i couldn't begin to tell you where we will set up but we will be there.

Its a hand push.

Well, the faire in set on a hill...some of the shops have steps to get into them...but for the most part as long as the person pushing the chair has good control then everything should be good.
