Using your garb in the mudane life/ incorcorating it into your day

I've recently been wearing my pirate shirts more and more in my normal day. My gf says they look pretty good just tucked into a good pair of jeans and a decent belt....although some of my friends have taken to calling me Pirate Steve off of Dodgeball...lol

I wore my cloak to a grocery store once . . . much better than some silly old winter coat!

lol, shouldn't it be dirty??? j/k I'm always complaining that my pirate clothes don't look worn/ragged enough. But they're getting there.

I would wear my coat more often but living in Tx. its never cold enough. I rarely get a chance to wear it at all at TRF.

My wife has a collection of around 50+ hats including more than a few Ren hats, big feathers and all.  She will were them right or wrong when SHE wish and the rest of the world be damned.  She is known as the Hat Lady by the building her office is in.

My mom is a marching band director and one year I made these giant feathered hats for her guard.  We had them in the van when we went to Hobby Lobby.  A sign at the register said "wear a crazy hat and get 20% off one item", or something like that.  I ran outside and brought them in.  The ladies at the register died laughing, thought it was great, and gave us 20% off per item for each hat I had!

Well, since my garb is a pair of furry goat legs and hooves...obviously I don't wear THAT to work or school. Not that I wouldn't...cause I'm weird and like making people go WTF, but I work around food and stuff, so would hate to get anything on me fur. I do wear the shirt every now and then, usually layered though, since I'm not a fan of sleeveless shirts.

I am currently writing out a "garb-y wishlist" for next year, so when I've got some spare money, I can buy some more fae-like clothing, and replace my mundane wardrobe.

I'm an artist, so I kinda can "get away" with dressing like what many would consider "a weirdo" lol.

I used to have green hair, so why not?
