NEXT GATHERING: May 31st-June 2nd

Great news.  Our next Gathering at Sherwood is right around the corner--May 31st-June 2nd.  Plan on joining us. 

Campgrounds will open Friday afternoon around noon.

Clan & General Camping will all be available.

Friday Night at the Trip, beginning at 9pm, we will be entertained by an Austin band, That Damned Band, so bring your holy water and dance shoes.

Saturday we will have a volunteer work day until 2pm, then potluck/cover dish to begin at 6pm at the Trip.  That night, we will wander down to the Seven Sisters for a fire circle and drumming.  We need as many of Sherwood's Drummers, Dancers, and Fire Spinners to show up.

Let's throw a heck of a party!!!  Bring Friends and Family.

Remember the term family...that means kiddos...so keep your behavior and language appropriate at the group settings at least until 10pm.  We want to be bringing on the next generation of sherwoodians.

Water, Soft drinks and Beer provided.  IDs required for alcohol (meaning no minors will be drinking).

Make sure you bring some dish to the pot luck on Saturday evening.  We are a community!!!

Please have volunteers report to the Trip Pub Saturday in the morning for work assignments.

We have shovels, rakes, etc., but bring your own in case we don't have enough. Add trimmers, brush cutters, chainsaws, root loppers, ladders, branch cutters).

We will have one more gathering to prepare for the Summer Camp.

I need folks with chainsaws to cut firewood for the Summer Camp, Gatherings, and 2014 season. I also need folks with four-wheel drive vehicles and towing chains to haul out the tree debris in the General/Open campgrounds, so that it can be cut for firewood.

For clans, my request is if you cut three pieces for firewood, contribute one piece for the Seven Sisters stockpile.

Please come with the necessary safety equipment (tall shoes/boots, long pants, gloves). Look before you step over a debris pile.

I will be bringing my new toy, Kawasaki Mule 4010 Trans 4x4 onsite for this Gathering. Going to see how much power it has for pulling out dropped logs. Going to be playing the weekend.

hope lots are planning to join us.  that damned band, playing friday nite, is suppose to be very good.  playing 9-12.  we need drummers, fire spinners and dancers at the seven sisters saturday evening.

That Damned Band is awesome.  They played our mass clan initiation party at TRF a couple of years ago.  We love them.  Wish we could be there.
