Seven down, none to go!!!

I was in the process of talking all the members of our group going to MNRF to dress up....I saved the toughest sell for last. My 60 something parents...and my mom surprised me! She said they would and she already had the perfect dress. 
Anyone else ever been a bit startled by WHO would go in costume?

i was shocked last year when my parents (both in their early 80's) dressed in garb for my wedding. i was also surprised (happily) how many of my friends and family turned out in garb as well. it was great.
this year when we go back to faire to celebrate our first wedding anniversary my mom said she will join us again in garb .

I think my mom actually got the dress because I said IF I got married, I wanted a renaissance wedding.
LOL, at least she will get some use out of it.

My boyfriend has recently gotten into archery.  This year there is a contest at the KCRF that he is going to enter, and to my surprise he told me he wanted to do it in garb! So we got My Elegant Muse to whip one up for him.  Woohoo!
