Saturday July 12th to benefit Blessings In A Backpack

The Highland Renaissance Faire, in conjunction with the Knight's of CuChullain, is hosting a benefit day on Saturday July 12th for Blessings In A Backpack.

This program provides three meals per day over every weekend during the schoolyear for a selected number of Eminence Elementary School children who participate in the Free and Reduced Lunch Program. These children otherwise might only get one or two full meals at home, leaving them hungry and impacting their educational attainment. Our goal is to help them expand the program to 125 children. More information can be found here:
www.weekendfoodforkids.org

THE FIRST 100 PATRONS WHO BRING A NEW BACKPACK FOR DONATION WILL RECEIVE FREE FAIRE ADMISSION SATURDAY JULY 12TH.
ADDITIONALLY, A SILENT AUCTION TO RAISE FUNDS WILL BE HELD ALL DAY WITH AUCTION WINNERS ANNOUNCED PRIOR TO PUB SING.

Thank you for your help!! Tell all your friends.

Also...
If you are a season pass holder or other participant in the Faire who doesn't pay admission, please participate in the Silent Auction! It will be in front of our booth (The Cunning Woman and Jack Salt's) and there will be all sorts of goodies to bid on!

We are still seeking donations to the auction, too, so feel free to bring Silent Auction donations to me anytime before the 12th.

This is a program that makes a direct and visible difference to the communities who use it, and our own Henry County is one of them. Let's rally and show Henry County how amazing Ren Faire folk and fans can be!
