Were there any non-garbed, normal, PAYtrons there? I've skimmed through a lot of these pics, which are great, but other than the serious rennies, it looks like a ghost town.

Yes, they were there, although it was a slower than usual weekend because of the holiday. Also, a lot of the pictures posted were taken early in the morning, which was relatively quiet - except for the R/Fers which is another story  ;). The crowds didn't start picking up until afternoon.

It was an odd weekend due to the holiday.
The morning was mainly the die hards with a few normal patrons.
By around noon the place was actually pretty packed.
But by 4 things had cleared out a lot again.

Really strange.
Though I heard a lot of vendors actually had a good day.
Though the crowd was shortlived, I guess they were a spendy lot.
