Just North Of OK, The Cowley County (KS) Renfest Returns On Aug 17th-18th

This festival is just over the border from Oklahoma, a little east of I-35.  Ark City's refreshed Renfest is coming on August 17th & 18th.  This festival has one of the best sites I've seen.  It's in a highly wooded & highly shaded spot just off of one of the main streets in town.  It reminds me a lot of Stroud, Oklahoma's former King Arthur Faire in that regard.  Will you join me for this fun, frolicking fest?

Did you know that there are certain owls, yes owls, that can take down deer & wolves?  You can see 1 of these owls at the Cowley County Renfest today in Arkansas City, KS.  You can also hear great bagpiping, acapella, Medieval musical parody & see improv comedy.  All in some of the best surroundings for a faire in this part of the country.
