Has anyone on here rented an RV from Cypress RV Rentals?
They sound OK, but I cannot find any reviews and their location is a mystery.
I am looking to rent an RV for 1 weekend of TRF.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks in advance.

Bryan I believe that is the name of the place on 249 that closed down a year or so ago??  Try calling Terry Vaughn, they may have a rental referral.

Thanks Bonny. This is actually a different place. I was able to find more info and talk to the owners. This is a small family owned business. They have 4 RVs with good rates and good reviews. I decided to roll the dice and give them a shot.
They are actually near my work around the 290/  FM 1960 area.
So as you have seen, got my King's Feast tickets for my birthday/ Anniversary weekend and an RV rented for Feast of Fools weekend.
Can't wait for faire to start. See you and your family out there!!!!!

Make sure they show you everything about the RV and go through starting up all the appliances.
Last year, we had a couple show up for their in-faire wedding and the generator wouldn't start. Not a nice weekend.

Also, double check the delivery and pick-up charges. The weekend rental rate may look good, but the "additional fees" may break the bank. Don't forget insurance agreement. If you burn it down, you may be liable for 10-15K.

There is a required 45 min walk through and instructional when I pick up the RV.
Did that Wedding couple rent from Cypress RV?
I will definitely check on any pick-up fees. This is supposed to be all inclusive. No generator charges, no mileage restrictions, and unless I go mudding I just have to clean the inside and refill the gas tanks.
Thanks for the info!!!!!!

Just rented ours from a place in Katy. Very nice and no deposit! Most places wanted 500 - 1000 for a deposit. I'll give a review after AHE.

Cypress RV.
Not bad at all.
This is a Husband/ Wife outfit that they run from their house.
They have 4 RVs, not campers or trailers. They are older units but they work just fine.
They are both very nice people.
The deal was $637 (this was for their largest RV 31') for Friday -Mon. $1000.0 refundable deposit (this is their deductible if you wreck it) .
All inclusive. All you HAVE to do is clean up after yourself, treat the plumbing right (only marine toilet paper, and they start you with a 4 pack), and top off the gas tank. Ooh yeah don't wreck it
They would like you to dump the water & waste tanks, but they do not charge you if you do not.
Kitchenware, linens, and towels are included. No mileage limits. No generator limits. No propane limits. In fact if you run out of propane, and have to get a refill. Keep your receipt, and they will reimburse you the cost. No nickle and dimeing you to death.
I will definitely rent from them again.

Hmm might have to look into them next year.
