I think they just did a cartoon version of that.

They did, and it had a few Big names like Kiefer Sutherland and Lucy Lawless but like I said, I bought it for my two year old and while we enjoyed it I was very dissapointed at the story line cuts and the vagueness of characters...

Maybe next time they will do it right

I'm not sure if anyone else in here is a Terry Goodkind fan, but the 22, 1 hour episode mini-series Wizards First Rule (Renamed Legend of the Seeker for TV) should be on air around November 1st.  I'm not a huge reader, but I loved the Sword of Truth series and I'm looking forward to the show.

I would love to see a movie made from the book "Shibumi" by Trevanian but it would be way too long and expensive if they try to do the book justice.

Teach, that is a most excellent suggestion. The good Admiral is way overdue for her own film/video/whatever. Just not sure if they can find the right actress to do her justice.

It could be done tastefully, that still wouldn't be allowed anywhere on normal television though.

Heck, Daemon spends most of the first book with an . . . nefarious magical attachment for goodness sake.

Probably just as well, they'd screw it up anyway.
