Hi Everyone!

This coming August (August 22nd-24th), our nonprofit organization is trying something new by holding a weekend camp out within the Metroparks of the Greater Cleveland Area, called 'The Festival in the Forest' (www.Festivalintheforest.org).

We have several acres, a large cabin, large pavilion, fire pits, etc., on this private property (which gives us greater flexibility outside of typical metropark rules).  In any event, we are planning numerous activities for the weekend so the community can simply come out for the day or camp out and have fun.  We will have gaming of all sorts (board games, RPGs, LARP, etc.), music, thespians, costumers, storytellers, and vendors.  It is intentionally supposed to be a hodge-podge of different types of fun things, activities, and genres where people can go from playing a board game, to watching actors, to listening to musicians, to checking out the vendors, to simply checking out those in Superhero, Star Wars, Fantasy, Renaissance, Old West, or even Steampunk costumes.  Certainly, each day will have certain themes at certain times, but it is meant to be a mix up of neat people and fun!

We certainly would be interested in having some help if anyone is interested!  If you can offer any special talent, a vendor, or would simply like to show up, please let us know!

All proceeds from the event benefit Social Interactions (www.SocialInteractions.org)  If anyone is willing to help or attend with an act/enertainment/vendor, please contact us at Festival@SocialInteractions.org
