Castle Land Project (Trying to restart the Mo Castle dream)

Just FYI for info about what someone is trying to do to revive the unfinished castle project that went belly-up a while back.  (They have had a web presence for a few months, so this may be a duplicate of info here already.)

It's called CastleLand-StartUp-Fund on the fundme site (address follows, but spaces added to disable hyperlink function - my personal aversion not to post links if I can avoid it)

As to how valid the effort is, time will tell.

Calling the castle 25% complete is a stretch...a long one. There is, however, quite a bit of stuff that was already happening when we visited, before they shut down operations.  We visited in July 2010, and they ceased operations in November 2011, so the satellite view on Google Earth (Feb 2012) is what is there.  (  36°26'5.32"N,  93° 3'40.81"W )

The facility is about 30 minutes from Branson, MO. It would be really cool to proceed with this, but it's going to take someone with a lot of money in hand. I don't seriously think they can fund it with social-site funding.
