I have seen pic with fairy houses and was wondering who made all of them and why??

Hello, welcome to Michigan  :)

Welcome to Michigan! It was fun.  I made one last year and I hope that they do it again this year, but no word yet! Mayhaps I'll run into you there!

I hope we do run in to each other. I know no one in Mi.

If you're looking for something sooner there's a smaller 1-2 day event called Frankenfeast that takes place in Frankenmuth.  It's a great way to meet rennies in a more intimate setting.  It's April 11th-12th this year.

Frankenfeast is a lot of fun, worth going to for sure.

that's about as close as you'll get to a website. it seems to be mostly word of mouth. I found out through here actually, there is a thread about it  here http://www.renaissancefestival.com/forums/index.php/topic,19250.0.html   it was a blast last year.
