I will have to say Labor Day weekend. I think it will give more "bank for the buck" for those traveling from afar.

I'm honestly good with whatever weekend is chosen. I'm Marylander, I'll be there anyway.

But if I had to choose, I think I'd pick Labor Day weekend. That's when we've got big invasions happening already (GOLD and the M'Cracks) and I don't think I'd want to ask people to make the trek twice. Or to have to choose between one or the other.

I play host to a Labor Day weekend event here in MN, 10 years running, now.  But I guess next year someone else will have to do it since I'm coming to Maryland!  Oh yes, and it's a 3 day event MG, get your days straight!  Ugh!

I vote Labor Day weekend, as I can't really make it any further out than that due to TRF's Opening Weekend in early October. That, and I love being able to spend 3 WHOLE DAYS at faire with my fairemily.
