Summer Camp for Adults!

More information will be coming ASAP but a short list of the classes we will offer includes leatherwork, blacksmithing, falconry, art, counted crossstitch, embroidery, brewing (beer,cider), magic, theatre, herbology, swordplay, archery, costuming and weaving.
And now the scary part, as it is our inaugural year for Adult Summer Camp it will be very limited.
80 people. The first 80 to put down a deposit will be our first years guests.
The form will be available on the Sherwood website very soon (I'll announce on here when it is available, promise)
I am so far beyond excited by this. It's going to be awesome!

So awesome!  I'm just upset that I won't be able to take part.    My limited finances are already committed to a trip to Scarby this summer with some friends and family.  I definitely hope all goes well though, so that this will be offered again next summer, when I should have a better chance of participating. 

P.S.  That list of classes looks AWESOME!!!

Incidentally, what kind of cost are we talking about here?  Both for attendance and the deposit.

Sounds great! I wouldn't be able to put down a deposit until April 30th though, and I imagine eighty people will beat me to it by then. Ah well.

And the price has been determined!
For 349$ you will receive:
3 days of classes (5-6 classes per day)
3 meals per day
Beer! (Yes there is a limit, but I doubt most will reach that limit)
Choice of camping on your own or pitching an air mattress inside the keep (because snoring after beer may not be what soothes you to sleep)

Classes/ schedule will be announced soon but if you look at the curriculum for our younger camp you'll have a good idea of it all. Add fun stuff like brewing and stitching and you'll get an even better idea

The reservation form should be online very soon. Stay tuned! Remember, it will be a limited number of patrons this first run. Only the first 80 to put down their deposits will get in!

What KP asked, as well as how much is the deposit?

Also, since it is Adult, does that mean 21 and up?  (especially since beer is provided)

18 and up? 

16 and up (as opposed to the children's which goes to age 15)?

There has been a bit of a delay in getting the registration form ready (illness and injury but nothing unrecovereable). I will post on here as soon as the form is ready.
To answer some other questions...
Adult means 18 and up. (16 and 17 year olds are able to work the youth camp as CiTs BTW). There is a discount for those unable or unwilling to imbibe alcohol.
The dates of the the adult camp are August 1st-3rd (Friday through Sunday)
And the deposit has been set at $150.

How full it is already?  I may have to miss out on it this year but I'll REALLY try for next year.

There are still quite a few spots left right now (it's only been a week)
The biggest benefit to early sign up is class choice. The earlier you pay in full the less likely a class you want won't fill up.

Looks like I'll be stationed in Tennessee the rest of the year.  Up side: OT, Down Side: No summer camp.  I'll just have to stash some of that OT away for next year.
