Hello, this is my very first post on the forum. I'd like to introduce myself...i'm a sword maker based in Durham, North Carolina. I started making swords for stage and film combat, but lately I have been making more hilts for fencers and WMA practitioners.  I haven't done much business with the Ren Faire community but I'm trying to branch out and find new customers. I think my work is a natural fit for performers and sword enthusiasts from the Ren  Faire world-- I try to keep my work focused on historically accurate weapons with blunt, combat ready blades.

I make medieval weapons for stage combat (broadswords, etc) with steel or aluminum blades, and renaissance weapons (rapiers) with steel blades.

I manufacture my own aluminum blades, but I can mount my hilts with any blade from the blademaker of your choice.

I also make custom scabbards and rapier carriers, plus fun stuff like sword canes and axes.

It doesn't look like I can post photos in this forum, but you can see my work on my website, along with prices and additional information about available pieces.  http://www.jessebelsky.com/stageswords

You can also check me out on facebook.  I post updates, process shots, etc: https://www.facebook.com/JesseBelskyStageswords

I hope you like my work.. Please feel free to ask me any questions you have.

If you are interested in commissioning something new, please let me know. I love to talk about possible projects!

thanks for looking
