What is the average price of a rose at faire?  Thanks!

  I've always seen prices around $2.00, and occasionally $3.00 for a single flower.
  At some of the larger faires you might pay as much as $5.00 ; but if you pay that much, it had better include a water tube to keep the flower fresh.

  Wholesale flowers are pretty cheap.
  The markup is pure profit, especially when they are sold as a single stem.

I believe the flowers we get are $4 to $5, and they do come with a tube.  Don't forget to tip your flower fairy.

At one of my home faires, roses are $4 with a water tube, and about half of them have been painted a little (the most common probably being the red roses that have had a thin line of metallic gold paint put along the edges of the petals -- very pretty). I always pay $5 or more, though, because I'm friends with most of the sellers, and I'm usually sending them on delivery missions. =)
