Garb of a different era (Wild West)
« on: February 28, 2015, 01:59:54 PM »
Hey all, I'm looking for a place that sells authentic garb for the American Wild West (probably circa 1870s).  In particular real versions for a saloon girl rather than the tarted up versions I've been finding.  I'm also looking for something that a 'real woman of the west' who deals poker at a saloon would wear.  The outfit suggestion they give me is not at all accurate for the time.

Go to Waldons book store and get a copy of 'Guns of the Old West'.  There are all manner of clothing vendors that supply old west clothing for CAS, SASS, and wild west conventions.

Magazine or book? I'm afraid we don't have a Waldon's out here, but I'll check Hastings thanks.

Magazine.  Any large major book store should have it.
