Ach Lass!  The purr of generator is just the thing to send me off to dreamland, don't ya know.  Lol.  The year of the fires, my brother, Nasty and I had one to run our heaters that would wake the dead.  Nasty & I came up with a sound reflector and bounced our noise towards Participants Camping.

If you don't mind me butting in, look at 1A-C, 3, 5 & 7 on the map.  It depends, also when you get there.

No, none that I've heard of.  The "fringe" is the way to go...quiet enough that you don't have to worry about a hundred drunken people staggering through your camp but close enough to the action, that a five minute walk will put you where you want to be.

All of us are on the "fringe" in one way or another...

Which weekend are you coming out?  That'll really be the big determining factor as to if you need a land grabber on Friday for that area and if there will be problems.  I don't travel much into that area so I couldn't really tell you.  We camp where we do so we don't have a two mile hike back to camp in the evenings and because it's quieter.

Thinkin about coming on Pirate adventure weekend (since my costume is pirate themed). I will agree, if you camp by the bonfire then you must party with the bonfire (all night).

Alex and I will be out All Hallows Eve and Closing Weekend. We usually do the big 3, but we wanted to pair it down abit this year. Plus, last year we didn't do AHE at all! It was sad!

KP and family will be camping with Clan P. closing weekend. Opening weekend is still unconfirmed.  We will be trying a new location again this year.  Location still undecided as well.

I have a question. So last year around the campgrounds I kept hearing about the camp site 1A. A lot of stories were pouring out of this site on Friday night of Halloween. I was wondering if those people knew about the 1A location because of this map on this thread or if the festival management itself uses the same numbering system. Does anyone know?
