I was at Great Lakes Medieval Faire this past weekend (Aug 3rd), and ran into a group of four wonderful people who were also visiting from Toronto. We stopped and chatted for a time, and then parted ways. During our talk, I tried to explain about this site and how to get on it, but it is difficult to do standing in a lane at a Faire.
I use this site to help get more information out there by telling more and more people about it, but one of my hopes was that some of the photos they were taking would end up on here. The one gentleman has quite the camera setup, and he was taking lots of photos, and I was going to ask if I may have copies of some. I did not have my little point and shoot with me.
I was hoping for help identifying these travellers. I know they are from the Toronto area, we spoke of the Milton Festival of Old, and they have attended Casa Loma. They were planning to attend Sterling and traveling as far as Maryland this year. They were all well adorned (we also spoke of the Merchant's Wife), but I think that the easiest identifier is that one of the gentlemen was fully decked out as a 14th - 15th Century Cardinal, with beautiful white robes, red mantle and red cap. Each of the group looked great, but it is rare that one goes as far as he has to represent a man of the cloth, so he may stand out in the memories of some.
I would appreciate anyone lending whatever help they might to put me in contact with these wonderful folks.
