And so cancer takes another great one from us... :'(    He was perfection as Snape, they couldn't have casted that part better.  And I will always love him as the Sheriff of Nottingham.  My shaky emotional state can't handle another loss...

What a bummer.  He was very good in a variety of rolls.  Just watched that corny Galaxy Quest again about a week ago.  Not a great movie, but has some funny parts and he had his fair share.  He always seemed to turn in a good performance.
