Resuming RenDezvous?

Has anyone been working on resuming these RenDezvous anywhere across the continent?  I live in Oklahoma but plan to be at Kansas City before it finishes its run this fall.

I'd never attended one, but they always seemed to be a fun idea.

How did these work?  Did everyone meet outside of the gate before opening & introduce themselves?  Did they say which acts or vendors they wanted to see then go in groups to seek them out?  Or did everyone stay in a pack?  Was it different at every different faire, depending on who took part in the RenDezvous?

I would Love to see this come back into reality.  I'd be game to help Organize if people would like to have it be a thing again.
