I can't recommend enough the YouTube channel called The History Squad.  It was created by the very talented archer, Kevin Hicks.  He is cranking out lots of videos of European history that are very well put together.

Kevin used to portray Robin Hood at the REAL Sherwood Forest in England.  He also portrayed an archer at Warwick Castle.  There are older videos of him shooting his longbow and entertaining crowds on YouTube in England.  He lives in Canada now.  Kevin is quite funny and has lots of great information about battles during the Hundred Years War between England and France, various European kings and queens, English archer details and stories right up into World War II.

To have a great time and learn at the same time, I hope you can check some of these out.  He keeps me in the Renfaire spirit and even inspired me to put on an archery show this year.  Huzzah to Kevin Hicks!

You are welcome, RefMom3.

Here's a video I shot a couple of months ago telling about The History Squad.  I have finally had the time to put it out to the world.

We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are---
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
