Lady Donegan

As I idle away the hours, thoughts of you spring forth like flowers.
Thoughts I would not dare to be shown, for they are mine and mine alone.
To sit with you face to face, how my mind begins to race.

I am hypnotized, by your ice blue eyes;
With their candle-lit glow that ignites my soul.
To say, "When I hear you speak, it leaves me weak."
Is a comparison most pale, because all words fail.

Your charm and wit are most beguiling, try as I might I can't keep from smiling.
Blushing every time you walk by, not even enough courage to say, "Hi."
There is still so much I could say, but what good would that do anyway.

Thus this shall be, tossed into the sea.
Called forgetfulness, and I wish you both much happiness.

Nay you must Speak, To greet, That is how you will meet.
A simple word to start, can lead to whispers of the heart.
to flirt and romance, thus begins the dance,
Forswear thy fear, less you never bring him near.
Nay you must Speak, Fortuna favors not the meek.

Ahh... unrequited love, or perhaps unuttered love is a better term. Such a bitter/sweet pain.

Very nice!
