Edit: Duff if you are reading this, STOP NOW! Don't spoil your surprise. As for those who know Duff, don't blab and spoil the surprise for him.  Too much work has gone into this surprise for it to be blown.  So  ssshhh..... no spilling the beans to the Duff Man.

--------------
Last night the hubby opened his mouth that he was opening the pocket book to allow me to get/make some new garb for me.

I've got my "Briar Rose" look.  Green peasant blouse.  Rose tooled black bodice, Red tights with black rose lace up the sides, and either my knee high boots, or black ren sandles.

As for my other outfit. I've got a pink corset, but I'm thinking of making an outfit to compliment the hubby's flamingo.  Basically the idea that I am trying to keep the two flaunting flamingo twins out of trouble.  (Flamino pink capes with feathers, pink shirt & pants, Red belt, and black boots.)

I can either make it or buy it. I have access to the flamingo's left overs.  If i make anything I only have 3 weeks to do it.

So.. help!  Ideas....

oo they could be your cousin and his friend whom you like, your mom set them out to be one of your chaperones, but really you chaperone them!

What is nice is I trust my hubby and his best friend. They WILL have fun at my expense but I know they wouldn't do anything malicious to me.

The rogue just said "There will be no chaperones... muhahahah!"

So should I go with more pink blouse? new green skirt? a wanna be royal?  ideas?

*note I can't think of flamingos without remembering the MS patient my grandmother cared for when I was very little, he had herons in his back yard and I said they were flamingo rejects... he got a kick out of that...

Definitely wear the pink bodice, the bodice is the important part for every outfit, imho

I cut out all the pieces and I have enough to make me either blouse or bloomers.  I'm sorely tempted to do the bloomers since my one pair is a little big (last I tried them on) and are really long.  Plus with a corset they aren't very pratical using the privy.

I would go with the bloomers! I love bloomers, I wear mine to bed and every where else that i can get away with it!

( sorry I dont get the Flamingo thing.... do you have feathers? I am lost...)

Why the flamingos?  It goes back to this  http://www.boston-legal.org/6-witches/ep6-witches.shtml  The idea is as a guy you have some one that is willing to stand by you though thick and thin.  In other words you are willing to dress up in an embarrasing flamingo costume with them just because they are your best friend.

That being said, I'm making my hubby and his 'flamingo' matching outfits for TRF.  They happen to be in flamingo pink shirts, pants, and capes.  We are putting red pirate sashes on them.  Both will wear black boots, and carry cutlass.
As I will have to be the judge to their antics  AKA thier flamingo tamer I am trying to make a new outfit to go with it.

So far I have a pink and gold bodice, cavalier hat with flamingo pink feathers on it, and thinking of wearing my black dra string skirt, and the matching pink bloomers.  Then depending on weather wear my black ren sandles.

That help explain :)
