Thanks everybody.  Part of me wants to go home.  Part of me can't wait for hockey to start tomorrow (get to see Canada vs. Norway).  I think the hockey part may be winning.

Very cool! (pun also intended :) )

By three shots I assume you mean 3 exposures extrapolated from one RAW image?

Shot a few takes bracketed and a few single shot RAWs.  Wound up liking the bracketed better.

This one's from three bracketed shots (+/- 3 stops, IIRC) from a 7D in high speed mode (8 frames/sec).  Took the skaters from the properly exposed shot, as they were the only objects which moved much at all during the exposures (approx 4/10ths of a second).

This one's from a single-shot RAW:

It certainly isn't faire-related, but it is the greatest game ever created by man.  Hockey!  Canada won 8-0.  The atmosphere in the crowd was unreal.

Nice shots Xanthenes. Have you been by the Canon media tents at all? One of the guys up there checked out the new 70-200 f2.8L IS II. He shot with it all day. His indoor hand held shots at 200mm and 1/8th second shutter speed are almost sharp enough to shave with! Crazy crazy crazy. of course I think I need one when they hit the shelves in April.  ;)

Nope.  I'll have to see if I can find them and, if I can, make a little time for a trip.  This place has been nuts.  Took a cab ride last night.  10 minutes.  3 blocks.  Decided walking halfway across town was quicker than cabbing halfway across town.  And the sidewalks are no picnic, either.

Tomorrow night is USA vs. Canada hockey.  It's going to be insane in there.

From last night's USA vs. Canada contest.  Easily the best hockey game I've ever seen in person.
