Well, Saturday was the Worldwide Photo Walk, and I led one at Riverside Cemetery in Moline, Illinois. Here are a few of my faves:

Nice shots!
Knight, FOP, Pirate, Woodsman...I am a man of many faces.

Manwariel

Nice photos.

Here are some I took when my family went on vacation last month.

Xanthenes The Unbalanced

Spectacular.  These are my three favorites, but the whole set is fantastic.

I have rotten luck trying to post, so let's see if I get it right, this time...
A couple of weeks back we had an impressive storm and besides knocking out the power for 24 hours, we got to see this:

Some stuff from this morning before I went and performed stupid jet ski tricks.
How far will a 230 pound body fly off of a jet ski at 45 mph?  I finally know the answer.

Cool shot.

So how far does a 230 pound body fly when launched off a Jet Ski at 45 mph?   ???

Jon.

The jet ski stopped on a dime (I basically managed to kick it around 90 degrees in the air and land it sideways into an oncoming wave), and I'm guessing my swim back was about 25 to 30 yards.  Accounting for some drift on the jet ski's part, I'd say about 55 or 60 feet.  Get your wind back, get the water out of your lungs, get back on.  The next morning?  Yeah, that's when you realize you aren't twenty any more.

This was shot a year ago at MiRF:

Poldugarian Warrior

The sunlight beaming down on the warriors is a cool touch. The guys seem to be garbed in middle age gear. Yet, being a warrior all armor transcends all periods of time. We are ones to argue about style, we just want to know how well it works.

As opposed to Middle Ages gear?  LOLOL  They don't look much past their middle 30's, but they could be experiencing crisis already, I suppose... might account for the plethora of studded black leather!  ;)  Seriously, I'm only joking... the wording just struck me as funny, that's all, but the photo is really cool, and the lighting is amazing!

You know I didn't even catch that joke, and there wasn't a joke intended. I just state The Middle Age, as evryone knows it though as Middle Ages, not sure why they pluralize it. They don't pluralize the  Elizabethan Ages, it's known as the Elizabethan Age. So no offense to those guys, was ever intended. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

You know, they are all in their 40's, though, so you hit it on that head, too! They all like to go for "barbarian" armors, so there's probably some mid-life-crisis going on as well (These are good friends of mine, so I'm safe making jokes at their expense, you should hear what they say about me!) for them, heh heh. What is nice though is that they've made all of their own gear for the most part. I wish you could see the details better, some of their stuff is beautiful.

Rani Zemirah

Oh, it all looks marvelous!  It could use a bit of wear, maybe, and a few dents and dings, but it does look very well made!  I'd love to see a closer shot of that longbow...
