Nice photo, thanks for sharing it. Who is that girl by the way if you don't mind me asking?

Why thank you all! I'm playing Countess Elaine de Francias, half-sister to the Duke of Anjou.

Adriana Rose

You look great! You should share some full pictures one of these days so we can see how your gown turned out

Squire_Kit

Hopefully next week I will! I still have to finish the girdle and fix a couple trims.

I don't have a full shot of the dress other than her in the crowd shot at the game. But I can get some this weekend.

The Fort Lupton Heritage Days festival. Here's a better picture of my boy:

Here's a picture of the fort!

The festival takes place every May at the Fort as a fundraiser for upkeep and restoration of the fort. It's really a very unique festival because it takes place on the fort grounds, in and around the Fort. Here's a picture of the inside of the Fort after the festival had closed for the day:

And my living history group's bagpiper:

I wanted to get a shot of him on the ramparts inside the fort, but he couldn't get one of his drones tuned exactly the way he wanted, so he wouldn't play his pipes around anyone other than me...  ::) Darned perfectionists... You'll notice the exposed metal on the wall to Sean's left- the outside wall of the fort isn't quite complete, but nearly so! I need to get up there this week and go to the store- I have some hide I want to trade for a fox pelt. You may have noticed that my son doesn't have a sporran- I haven't made him one yet, and he wants a fox sporran.
