Got a few nature pics at a park near Lake Charles, Louisiana.  I thought these geese looked kinda cool but they weren't very friendly.   :)

This is a monument in Silvis, Illinois, to eight Hispanic men from the same 2-1/2 block street who died in WWII and Korea. Just about every young Hispanic man on that street volunteered for active duty during those wars. Hero Street USA

You should see Ray working his birds. To say it's awesome is a complete understatement. I'm sure he does other festivals though. Has anyone else seen his act?

Jon.

Dustin

Took this yesterday with my new camera with 12x optical zoom.

Saw him at Bristol years ago. You are sitting on a bench, facing the stage and he calls. A shadow covers you as a Golden Eagle swoops towards the stage. Unbelievable! He rehabbed that eagle after it was shot by some idiot. >:( He also had an owl and a few others. Always a grand site. Very humbling. 8)
