Thought I'd share a shot of my tankard. I had it looked at by a pewterer's society and it turns out it's a 'Real' fake- apparently in the 20's and 30's you could order fake reproduction pieces from catalogues, and people would load their trunks full, and say they were just back from a British estate sale and dupe the customer into paying antique prices for a knockoff. Apparently they'd never seen the shape of mine before, and my touch marks (not pictured here) were quite good...

Anyway- what a find for an eBay purchase!
