Rendevous 2009 @ MDRF

I wanted to repeat this here...

I want to say what a PLEASURE it was in helping host Rendezvous 2009 at MDRF!!!  It was so wonderful to see old and new faces!!  I hope everyone enjoyed our faire and maybe even made a few new friends .  Thanks to all who made this such a memorable experience!

As special thanks to Scotsman and Lady Guinness for being the point for getting MDRF nominated and for getting the ball rolling... it could not have been done without you!!!!

Thank you all for having us!!!  This was honestly one of the BEST Fairs I've had the pleasure to attend.  Thank you all for making it so welcoming, and just good old fashioned fun.  Can't wait to see y'all again, and someday return the favor!!!

Well, we *had* lots of pictures, but we lost our Nikon DSLR camera in the parking lot Sunday afternoon, and whomever found it was not honest enough to turn it in, so we won't be posting any 

Had a wonderful time though! Met so many nice and interesting people! We are absolutely exhausted...

Too bad all the good times had to end with such a disheartening event   

I would re check this weekend or whenever you return. It might still turn up

What Lady Glorianna said.  If somebody found it that night, they probably wouldn't turn it in until Monday morning at the very earliest, and I've found items that I kept forgetting to bring in with me for a week or two.  I'm going to be checking the lost and found regularly for my R/F pin that I lost on Saturday, so I can let you know if anything turns up.

Even though I was only able to make Saturday due to unfortunate family issues, it was a pleasure meeting everyone.  Hopefully we will get to spend more time together during Rendezvous 2010.

I had a WONDERFUL time at the faire this weekend!  Thank you so much to those who helped put it together, it was much, much appreciated.  I was so happy to meet new friends and spend time at your gorgeous faire.  It is a weekend that will stay with me for a long time to come.

I will post my pictures when I have more than 2 braincells to rub together, maybe tonight.  Can't wait till I have time to browse through everyone else's!

I just want to thank everyone for a wonderful weekend. Both Arianwyn and myself had a great time. I know she expressed her thanks, I just wanted to send mine out. And a particular thanks to scotsman and lady guiness for partaking in that little ritual by the chapel. Couldn't have had it happen with nicer people. Oh, me achin' head...

It was a pleasure to see you all...it may take months, nay, years for all the stories from this rendezvous to be fully told and appreciated, but as for me and mine, it was one of the best faire weekends ever at Revel Grove. Thanks to all for sharing it with us, and making it so!

HAHAHAHA!!! Sir, I AM the secret of the hollow pickle... LOLOL! They didn't have much to say, as they were too busy trying to stay dry.

I only saw it for the first time a few years ago when a similar group of wenches did the same to the Rogues on the predecessor to the BlackFriar stage.  One of the CD wenches complained that they ALWAYS get bananas and pickles, and didn't somebody have anything different for once?  That's when Nelson spotted the inflating and deflating pickle, and the audience lost it.

It was an honor wench guarding for you, madam.
