2 3/4 of my 4 dresses are done.  When I got to the point where I was to sew the satin collar to the satin front bodice piece I found....it missing.  I had it bundled all together so I wouldn't loose it but it was ....gone.  Discovering this after 48 hours marathon sewing and only 4 hours sleep.... can we say crying and choclate ice were involved?  

Regardless I have enough left overs to cut a new one, and sew that last big will be done tonight, and hopefully I'll finish the last dress tonight.  Keep your fingers crossed.  These are due AM Wed.

Not really sewing ye! Everyone's creativity and talent has inspired me.  I  decided to make a girdle belt to go with my new costume.  I found these great glass pearl beads at Hobby Lobby on sale for 40% off.  Now waiting for the remaining findings and pieces to arrive in the mail so I can really get to work. 

   

As the costume is a basic gold brocade and black velvet one.  I am also planning on add some pearl beading and trim to dress it up more to go with this girdle.

What a lovely Fleur De Lis Cilean. Almost like a flower.

Blue seems to be the color of the day. Really prety combination with the pearls LadyD1.

...and Lady Stitch, I won't be surprised if you find the missing collar the day after you've finished your projects. Huzzah for the home stretch and more than four hours of sleep in the very near future. Looking forward to the pics.

My guess is it is in my white fabric scrap bin.  At some point I may have cleaned my work station and just put it in there.  I did find out that that I had actually gotten enough fabric to start with. (I had been 10 inches too short to cut out a skirt back, or so I thought)  turns out I had actually cut out an extra front piece at 1 AM on my original night of sewing.  Teaches me to just go to bed and get up early and sew vs stay up late and sew.
Regardless. I just have another 3 hours of work left on the final dress before their fitting, then binding the arm holes with bias tape once they are finalized. I feel I'm in a better place than I was. Funny thing was I actually went to bed before midnight for the first time in a week.  It felt weird.....

I hated the one's I took with it hanging on the hanger. I'll post the one's from the fittings tomorrow.
