We're trying to get a feel for general membership (or desire to do so), so that we can more accurately plan some of our gatherings, as well as faire treks. McLotofus was gathered up just because we were all RFers and we all camped together. Now we do Monthy Gatherings, as well as organize mass invasions at the TRF campgrounds.

That sounds great!  I am planning to be at the Landsharks meet-n-greet at the POW on opening day.  Will the McLotofus clan be there then too?  It seems to be a crossover of members.

Sidenote:  Blue, I think I met you briefly at Scarby this spring.  I believe Meg introduced us, but there was a flurry of activity so we didn't say much more than 'hi'.

The way McLotofus works (or did originally... I assume it still is like this) is that everyone is a member... period
The fun part is that means no one can join because they already belong. Which also brings up interesting conversations like:
Can I Join McLotofus?
Nope.
Why not?
No one can Join.
But I want to be a member!
You already are...

Teach, you are exactly right! We do actually encourage McLotofus to spring up in other states as well, the love must be spread. I figure I'd make this list so that we'd have a list of the "active" (as in those who wish to camp with us, and attend gatherings) Texas/Import members. THE MORE THE MERRIER!!!!

Teach is right and yes, it still works that way...if you want to be a member of Clan McLotofus, then you already are!!!  Yes! It's that simple!

Likewise, if you don't want to be a member, then your not, although I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want to be a member...we attend renaissance faires and festivals...we have lots of fun...we have loki and rum...what more could you want???
