I've done beading for years (I've won numerous awards for my workmanship). One of the things I learned from belly dancers is not to use that floss for beading! It will wear out quickly if the ends of the beads may be having little sharp flanges on the outside or the inside of the bead (you might not see it) that will eventually break the floss.

Instead, I use clear nylon thread as the professional belly dancers do.

Once  you have beaded anything like costumes, you can no longer dry clean because the solvents used by cleaners will take the color out of your beads.
The best you can do is carefully handwash your garments in cold water and hang to dry.
Being Blond means I have the right to walk into any wall.

Heres the finished pics. To solve the dry cleaning problem I made sure everything was preshrunk and water safe. I used almost 7 yards of sea mist piping and the whole thing is lined with chocolate corduroy.

Beautifully done.  Looks great.  Now can we have pix of you wearing it, please!   ;D ;D

Oh, my gosh, Bonnie, it's GORGEOUS!!  (As I thought it would be! :D)  And I totally see where you're going with the golden color for the skirt now, too.

Thanks guys :) I bought the fabric for the skirt and chemise last night, a fine waled dachshund colored corduroy and ivory colored kona cotton with sea mist bias tape, and I'll have my friend come over and take pics with it on once everything is finished.
