As with anything faires are cyclic and we see A LOT of ups and downs.

Here are some faires that have been officially closed or have no website/news. Most of this is from nerennies.net:
Festival of the Lion (no news and website is down and gone)
Somers Renaissance Faire

May happen but in a new place/owners
Maine Renaissance Faire
Downeast Pirate Days

Not running this year but will be back next
Southern CT Renaissance Faire

Moved time
NH Renaissance Faire is in MAY rather than October
ISD Renaisance Faire is in OCTOBER rather than May
The Salem Pirate Faire is becoming The New England Pirate Faire and moving from SEPTEMBER to June

It looks like the Maine Renfaire and Downeast Pirate are not a go for this year. It is my hope that they are able to find sites next year
