What awesome things did you do/experience this year?

My favorite experiences from this year:

-Meeting and hanging out with the Bloodwake pirates
-Meeting Mad Irish's goddaughter and getting 3 hugs from her. She's so sweet.
-Drunk & Disorderly's final show ever at Mac's. I'm sad that they're breaking up, but they'll be back next year in a new format, and it was a very nice final show.
-The Pirate picture. Seriously, it was like Tortuga. All kinds of pirates, everywhere!
-Hanging with Willum and his sister at Earth n Wire
-Butterbean coffee from Tillie's. Mmmmm!

And got to meet lotsa people, visit,and heard the A**hole song for the first time (thanks Dregs, now it's stuck in my head!)

I think my favorite experience was meeting Escarlata on the last weekend.

-Broke up a catfight in the parking lot which appeared to have been caused by triple parking.  I debated waiting for the hair pulling first.
-Helped reunite a mother to her lost child.
-A traveller's shop (narrows) girl's battery died during the day.  She was beside herself scared.  5 minutes later and she was on her way.  Still worked up, but none the worse for wear.
-Watched a chipmunk chase a cat thru my mead lounge.
-Wine & Cheese party in the campground.
-Reunited with many friends from the past.  I missed the place while I was travelling w/DHS.

-Saw a sleeping chipmunk opening day outside the back of the shop.
-Was officially the manager of the shop! I was really in charge!
-Wearing a hoop skirt for the first time ever and hurting some people's heads.
-Playing with Terpsicory.
-Getting the giggle fits after boinking hats with Mad Jack.
-Showing off a new necklace by bending over and getting a 5 minute response from Zlich (most everyone else couldn't speak for about 5 minutes)
-Being recognized by people. I'm apparently become the "face" of our Minnesota shop as there were people who would stop and tell me that they were by earlier but didn't see me so they didn't stop in.
-Getting recognized at Tillie's as Ferret. They couldn't remember what I drank every morning (with so many orders I'm not surprised) but they knew who I was even in 'danes!

I'm sure there's more but those are the ones I can think of that don't involve eating soap...

-Incredible support from my fest family for my cancer ordeal.
-Played for drum jam for the first time ever!
-Being told that Bakery "owns" me. 
-Having the Revelers men pile on top of me in the morning 
-Incredible bloomers/tights competitions
-Getting to play with Commedia
-Having my niece tell me she wants to come out with me next year again on a pass, but for a full weekend and not just one day.
-Seeing all my old friends and meeting so many new ones

-My FOP came together and I love playing him.
-getting a little more used to scotch and bourbon although I may never enjoy like DB, Toar, Rune, Storm and others...but I'm trying.
-Got to see Sir Ironhead and Escarlata...Did I mention Escarlata?
-bought more "stuff" to go with my outfits-flasks, etc.
-watch the faces of my kids getting their faces painted, picking out necklaces, opening Dragon Egg's...it never gets old.
-Eating Talapia Fish at fest, man that stuff is good. I don't care if its not the best, its good enough for out there.
-the pirate pic was truly awesome....

Oh geez....
- Being cornered by the King about missing Opening weekend.
- Being almost fought over to work places!
- Meeting more new people than I can recall.
- Connecting well with old friends.
- Earning enough to get by for a little bit til the real job started.
- The Love!

It took a few years, but oh it was so worth the wait. This was definitely my favorite moment this year.
