Hey there all - our episode of Dragons' Den airs Monday night on CBC. However, we have access to a "sneak peek" and you can watch the episode online now! We are at the very end of the episode, and I recommend watching the opening credits so that you get a sense of what the show is about, and the first entrepreneur segment to see what a typical interaction with the Dragons is like.

Two caveats -

- We were in the Den for about 50 minutes. You're going to see the four minutes with the highest emotional content, because that makes good TV
- The last thing the director told us, seconds before we stepped into the Den, was , "They will try to talk over you and over each other. Shut them down and control the room."

Soooo....

Dragons' Den episode 2, which features Aerial Angels is now online ready to watch. You can watch it at the sneak peek here:
http://www.cbc.ca/dragonsden/sneakpeek.html

Password is: CBC

There is also a short backstage video that represents us in a way we're pretty happy with at:

And remember, we are still looking for investors - if you want to be part of our next big thing, give a shout for more information. It doesn't have to be a huge commitment - remember, the people who own 2% of Cirque du Soleil are pretty happy right now

enjoy!

Well!  That was quite emotional.  It's a shame how editors chop things up, but I guess it makes for good tv = ratings =money.

Congrats on your deal! I wish you more success with your company  and show :)

One thing I'm not sure of though....is the deal just for you and your partner?  Because I saw some other Aerial Angels this summer (I think it was at Sterling) and wondered if the name was just franchised out, or do you all work together?

Great question!  We're a company of 15, and we work in teams of 3-4 depending on the gig. I'm the director of the whole shebang, and I'm responsible for sending out who goes where. The teams re-form depending on the gig - so, Flame, Mimi and Duke were all at Sterling, Duke has gone to grad school, Mimi to Maryland to work with 3 other Angels, and Flame to King Richard's Faire to work with 2 other Angels.

The Big Show will include performers who are currently with Aerial Angels - Isabella, Spike, Luna, Flip - and some other performers we've recruited from our street performing and theatre experience. Aerial Angels will still tour renaissance faires and busker festivals, and perform at community and corporate events.

Our schedule - and usually who is going to be where - is on our website at www.angelsintheair.com/schedule.
