Camping and festival tickets.

Okay, so here I am to ask another noob question, but it just occurred to me.  I think I've seen something along these lines here, but can't find where...

Can we come down on a Friday to set up camp before we've bought our tickets to the Faire...?

Our plan was to come on down to set up Friday afternoon, then buy weekend passes at the gate on Saturday morning.  Is that acceptable, or do we have to have our tickets ahead of time?

Again, thanks in advance for any info on this...  Really, we'll bring rum with us.

No, you don't have to have tickets to get into the campground, but camping costs $10 per vehicle per weekend.

You'll pay... whatever the cost for tickets is... at the entrance
I am guessing you are planning to stay friday night? From the way you wrote that it almost sounds like you want to set up... and come back the next day.

The plan is to come down on Friday and stay, then going to the Faire on Saturday.  It just seemed like, one way to read the info on the website, is that you can stay only if you already have tickets.  Would hate to get down there and find out I read it wrong...

We should have rum, beer, and a selection of homemade meads and ciders, for those who want to wander by.  I'm hoping to have our flag sewn up by then, so if I manage, I'll post a pic of it so folks know where to look.
