I'm STILL trying to decide what to bring....I seem to be in a cooking funk which is most peculiar as I love to cook.

I am not sure What time I will get there and not sure what I will bring but I am thinking a desseret in case I am there late. Unless something else is needed?
Let us hunt as free as ever, and track the prey we desire most.

Okay, change of plans.  Since the secret ingredient for the sweet potatoe casserole is at the moment unattainable- I shall be bringing green been casserole instead- ya know, the kind with the crunchy onion thingies on top.

Also bringin nanner puddin just fer Blue.  We have to leave the grounds thursday anyway, so itll be easy to keep it cold til we need to bring it to eat.

Cant wait to see everyone there!

Would anyone be adverse to me bringing a 25 # box of Slavachek Sausage? They taste great on the grill and if we could have someone bring a pit they would be good eating!!!

I've got a good stand up smoker and Pecan wood for fire. If you want I'll pitch in the truck. It won't do 25#s at once, but I'm sure it'll handle enough in batches for the demand.

Well I dont know what's going on in Brigadoon/Valhalla on Thurs. so I am posting here, if that's alright.

Me and Andy are going to be at Camp Thurs. Last season we had a good amount of people at camp and had a good dinner and it went pretty smoothly. This season, I am now being told our camps are shooting for a Sat afternoon dinner. That's ok with me, dont get me wrong....but I dont think Andy will be able to get half a day off at his job and I'd hate for him to miss anything like this.

I'll have to read this thread all the way thru again....but what's the general consensus on the actual Thanksgiving day dinner(s) at everyone's camp?? I'd love to be able to roam around and say hello to everyone, sample some kick weed puller food you all keep talking about lol....etc.

I dont want to just wander into peoples camps if there's plans on Thurs. and all that jazz.

You should know by now that you're always welcome in the McLotofus camp! If you haven't realized that yet you better come over and get something to eat and/or drink this weekend.

Taarna

Though all of our clan families may have differant names, we are all but ONE FAIRAMILY in the camp grounds. Ok, Well, with the exception of the bloody ravers... LOL

Other then that... We all have the common LOVE for Faire and the Rennie mentality, with most of us looking out for one another, and helping one another, even if we don't know one another yet.

A Rennie from another clan is simply a freind not well met yet!

Come on Brigaqueen.... wonder over and eat and drink and talk till your hearts content. WE WELCOME YOU!

I will also be bring "some" marshmallows, Hersey's chocolate bars, and graham crackers.

If you don't what these make, you have led a sheltered life.

So bring some skewers and have S'mores.
