That tis sad indeed Ottheinrich ... no clues from your gift as to whom the sender is?

And Ottheinrich's situation brings up a question for this first-timer - are we suppossed to 'tell' our person who their gift is from or is it a 'Secret Santa' type thing?

If it is a 'Secret Santa' thing - do we reveal on or after 12/15 or when our person recieves their gift(s)?

Guess I should have asked these questions when I signed up - do educate me!  I will gladly reveal whom I gifted if I should have done so already!

Oh aye, the 'Santa' has revealed herself. 

I'm glad you asked that question, Emerald, as I am a newbie at this, too.

I find these gift exchanges fun and a great way to reach out to your fellow rennie/pirate/human being.  And, with each new 'Exchange' program/event, there are different rules of operation and courtesies to be met - just helpful when my brain functions enough to let me formulate the questions!  LOL.

Blame it on work - we've fired 2 nurse aides and 1 LPN for intoxication while On Call - hence all of we remaining nurses are picking up the slack in the schedule.  Uncle Sam loves me but I'm hating the lack of sleep and lack of time to do anything else (like read and post here!)

Have a good one guys - I'm off to get some rest - working the next 4 nights so won't be around much - 12 hour shifts take it out of me.

I received my gift today! 

My 'Santa' didn't give her forum name, so I'm not quite sure who to thank (and I don't want to use her actual name without permission)
but the scarf is lovely, very soft and warm, which is PERFECT for the weather in Central NYS lately - I LOVE IT!! Thanks so much!!
