YAY!!

I love corn snakes - my husband and I have talked about getting either a corn snake or maybe a little ribbon snake...

I will get pictures when she gets to her permanent home and it also looks like we might be getting another one. My fiance feels left out and wants one for himself. Well she's starting to get used to us and her new home. The mother-in-law is less than pleased and still skittish around her.

Btw, snakes are seemingly the easiest pet I've ever had to take care of, corn snakes from what I've heard are by far the easiest species to take care of as well.

Congrats!  We've had a corn snake for years and are contemplating acquiring another snake.  They make good pets and we like having ours around.  As a bonus, a lot of our kids' friends have learned that snakes are not all that scarey after meeting ours.

awww yay! We have some at work (Petsmart) and they're awesome A few of the girls were squeamish and perferred to have someone help them with them at feeding time and I had no probelm with that so i got to hang out with them!

My only problem was people with like 10 year olds who wanted one and we had to be like... You do realize in 8 years when your kid goes to college hissy the snake can't go, and YOU will have to take care of him... Right?
