News from Meow Manor

 I completed 5 new and magnificent wizard staffs. Some will be for sale. Some are mine!
Pictures soon- I hope. My staffs are hard to capture with a pixie box. They are just too magical.
Now on to getting Meow Manor ready for the ARRG on July 26th. I started today. I took all the socks away from the house elves and they actually worked, happily too!
  Today would have been Lord A's and my 31st wedding anniversary. I made a special dinner- one he would have liked- and toasted him with one of hid favorite drinks- a Manhattan! I even lit a candle! I can still do special all alone!
I miss my love, but am doing OK.

Bonnie,  I bet you could feel his presence there.  He will always be with you, though you can't see him.  Because he is in your heart.  It always remains full of love, doesn't stop because someone isn't in the room with you.

One the first day of Spring this year my husband and I celebrated 34 years of marriage. We are still best friends.  Shortly after that he had another spell with his frail heart. He is still beating the odds but each time he does this I suffer from unbelievable stress. I know our time is limited, which is why you rarely see us at the faires any more.  We take each day as it comes and try not to worry about the things we can not control. I know I would be lost without him. But I hope I can go on with the same courage and grace that you, Bonnie, show.

 Finally catching up here! I was a bit busy hosting the Annual July ARRG party here at Meow Manor. It was fun! Most of the nargles stayed away. One thing about hosting parties is I never have enough time to visit with all my friends- but twas a fun party. Lord A's garb is now home! Thanks to Blue and Zaubon who brought it here from Kilbur's home.
I got 3 new gowns from my Royal Dressmaker- Chameleon Dreams! I dyed the material for 2 gowns myself!  Very pleased!
  The Siamese enjoyed the Arrg. The 2 other  Royal Felines hid.
All is returning to normal here- whatever that might be! LOL!

Once again you were an outstanding host. Midnight and I had another great time and I am pleased to have been part of it again this year. It was also a pleasure to chase away this years nargle.

  Can't wait to see the rest of your pictures!  I need to have you out here again to shoot my wands and staffs and crystals. My photography skills are sadly lacking! Alas!

OHHHH I am sad I missed it. I will make one someday!!!! We had so many things go down.... seems to me the nargles moved here! Calis truck had an oil leak(the sensor) and while looking to find that found the water pump leaking... so had to fix all those problems then hubby had to go rescue her as he was so tired after all the fixing he forgot to torque(simply tightened the bolts) and the belt guide flew off!

BUT before that we had a dog attack the BIG(16+hand filly) and she has a horrid cut on her back leg... but worse her brother(Deuce) the one who was going to race strained a suspensory tendon while fretting that he could not get to the dog and save his sister. Always something!!!!

I need a nargle removel spell PLEASE!!!! Cat

OH Thank You my dear Queen! I hope it works... I am truly tired of the darned things!!! Now if it just does not remove the filly... I think she is a Nargle herself. She tore the bandage off(this is something she just started!) and made it swell and bleed and a BIG mess! I may just have to beat her if this keeps up! And it was healing so nicely till she pulled this bad stunt!
  Ah well life got busy again! I have another set of race silks to make, 6 greenman pouches and who knows what else! You know how you get up some days and say there is something(fill in the blank) going to happen and all... well I beeped my mom on the Nextel on the way to work the herd and said I had a feeling I was going to be getting a bunch of business today and would be VERY busy this weekend.... and it happened. I was holding the horse for the farrier when the silks call came in, then I was tacking up the 2yr old when the Renboots call came and I have several other things pending! UGGHHH I love having money but I am so tired!  AHH well at least it keeps me out of trouble!!!

I got word the booth remodel is complete!!! I can't wait to see the new furniture and stuff she is bringing... Renboots will look TOTALLY different this year!  Wild! OH a few more months and TRF is here!!!! Cat

 I got brave and did a  small load of wash- and the garage toilet overflowed again. Fie! Drat!( Insert really bad word here!) The ARRG was just too much for my old plumbing. I have to " Hang in there" until Monday when the LCRA plumbers are coming.  I hate toilet nargles!

I am dreaming of TRF- but also Serendipity Haven in Sept! I will vend again- a few times- with Crystals, wands and staffs!

Alas! I had to have the garage toilet removed and a clean out installed! Take THAT toilet nargles!
I hope that banishes them from Meow Manor forever!
Off to do a load of wash and take a long bubble bath!AHHHH! Working plumbing is a GOOD thing!
