RIP Ice maker. It died peacefully. Now I need another. I use a lot of ice! DRAT! Always something. Fie on the Nargles!

Are you wanting to find the direct replacement that goes back in your freezer, or a stand-alone Ice Maker?

Doing a little Google search, I found that the stand-alone, portable types of Ice Makers that are resonably priced all require you to manually fill them with water.  Having an auto-fill line connected to the water supply seems to be found only in the more expensive Ice Makers.

Hello and good day Bonnie! I have been away yet again for quite some time, but HOPEFULLY now I can stick around for some time. This past year was hectic! On top of everything else I was only able to make it to TRF once and I couldn't even go in garb. 
So how have things been on your side of the garden? I have to run around and get re-acquainted with everyone on here. I am probably forgotten!

Is this an under counter ice maker or one in a frig. The replacement on the one in the frig is not bad as long as the part for the door still works fine.

 ARRGH! What a day! I definately need a Nargle Be Gone Spell!
They are putting in my ice maker this Afternoon. They called this AM and had one in stock. It is in the fridge.The motor died. I did look on e-bay but no numbers matched. Good Old Kitchen Aid. (I am being facetious- I HATE Kitchen Aid) I just now got to read the suggestons . Thanks YRose and David!
I had an appointment with the Royal Dentist this AM- just a check up and cleaning- and a lot of other errands to run today. When I went to go this AM- the MeowMobile would not start!!!!! I called Triple A. They got me going and I went right to my repair shop- they know me well. It was the battery. It was old and died. RIP battery.
This is an expensive day- but not heartbroken about missing the Dentist Appt.LOL!

Not this year.  We have to go to Missouri for my hubby's daughter's graduation so I have to give up Scarby this year.
Can't afford both....

 More troubles here at Meow Manor. My cat KoKo is very sick. It came on suddenly. She is prone to sinus trouble and delicate health after being lost for 2 weeks several years ago. I noticed her sneezing and having problems breathing on Sat. Nothing new. Stuffy nose. I got Antibiotics at the Vet on Sat. I thought she would respond. Now I am not sure she will make it through the night.
I should have brought her in to the vet- but I have been through this before- so thought the meds would clear it up. I feel rotten. I hope she lives through this.

 I hope so too- but the signs right now are not good for recovery.  She is a 14 year old cat and - not looking good. If she makes it through tonight- I can hope she might recover.  Not much more I can do for her right now. Poor kitty.
